What You Should Expect On A Facility Tour Day.

Are you seeking the perfect weekday respite program for a loved one with a Memory Disorder? The best way to determine if a program is the right fit for you and your loved one is to arrange a meet and greet.

The Day Place is dedicated to providing the care and support your family deserves. We understand how important it is to see your community facility in action to determine if it is the right fit for your loved one.

That’s why we host Lunch & Learn facility tours. It’s the perfect time to come out, meet the staff, tour the facility, have lunch with our in-house program attendees, and play Bingo!

Tours are an opportunity:

  • for caregivers and loved ones who are suffering from memory disorders to see the facility and community in action
  • to speak directly with the people who will be caring for your loved one
  • to build a comfort level of the environment and how your loved one might participate in it

On a tour, you will experience:

WELCOME TO THE DAY PLACE –
We can’t wait to meet our prospective participants (or Friends) and caregivers!

DISCOVERY –
We must understand the needs of the prospective Friends and their caregivers. This is a great time to ask questions and discuss the goals you might have for your loved one.

TOUR –
We want our Friends and caregivers to feel comfortable in our environment. A tour allows us to show you our facility, activity zones, and discuss the benefits of a daily structured plan.

PROGRAM OPTIONS –
Let’s discuss the participant packages that are available with your budget in mind.

FINAL THOUGHTS:  If you have any questions or are wondering whether a program like ours is the right fit for your loved one, don’t hesitate to reach out!
